Learn Thai cooking when in Samui Island
You can learn cooking your favorite Thai food by joining the courses offered by the modern Culinary Institute of Samui Island. This institute offers Thai cooking classes both in the morning and afternoon to learn Thai cooking. In addition to cooking classes, there are also Thai cooking demonstrations in large hotels and three day fruit carving courses to join.
Plot your trip wisely to learn water sports in Samui Island
Samui Island is a beautiful place to learn diving, sailing and windsurfing. The many companies here in Samui Island offer courses not only in Open Water Diving but in other advanced areas too. Moreover, the courses offered here are all PADI certified and no matter where you come from, there is sure to be an instructor around who can help you learn in your native language.
However if you intend to learn water sports during the months of December to March, while on the North Shore, of Samui Island, you will have to be ready to face some disappointment as sea conditions tend to get rather rough and windy in these months. So have an alternate plan ready in case the weather does not cooperate with your plans while in Samui Island.
You can learn tennis while on Samui Island from the well known USPTR tennis instructor of Samui Island. You also have the USTA 6.0 rated tennis player, Darren Kemble on hand to help you learn tennis, at most of Samui Island's larger hotels. You need not be a novice to take classes here; even advanced tournament players are more than welcome to take classes using equipment that is provided free of charge to you.
Learn the fascinating Thai language when in Samui Island
If you have a fascination to learn the Thai language, there is a language school in Bophut of Samui Island, offering classes. There are also private tutors who will teach you the language on an hourly basis. The Thai traditional massage can be learned at the government run Angthong Health Center of the village of Nathon.
A course is usually 18 hours long, and spans three days at a cost of 5000 baht. As this is taught in Thai, it is better to take a Thai acquaintance to make arrangements to learn Thai massage during your Samui Island trip.
