Marcopolo Resort & Spa Samui is located on Chaweng Beach Koh Samui. The island of Koh Samui is the most well-established and popular holiday destination in the Thai province of Surat Thani.
Located in the Gulf of Thailand Koh Samui offers pure white beaches, coconut palms, unspoilt forests and hills as well as a host of tourist amenities and attractions. Choeng Mon offers a quiet, tranquil retreat and Big Buddha, also known as Bang Rak has very peaceful waters and is the closest to Koh Samui airport.
Koh Samui is located about 650km from Bangkok, has its own airport and easily accessible by plane and ferry.
Flights from Bangkok airport leave hourly and take around 70 minutes.
Flights from Phuket leave daily and take around 30 minutes.
Koh Samui airport offers many mini-buses and taxis to transport you to your onwards destination.
Ferry services from Surat Thani, the nearest mainland city to Nathon run regularly. The express ferry takes 3 hours and night boats take 6-7 hours.
There is a combined air-conditioned bus/catamaran service from Bangkok which takes around 11 hours.
