 Anantara Lawana Koh Samui (prev Villa Lawana): Overview
A contemporary Sino-Thai style resort. Located at North of Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui, Thailand. Set amongst a beautiful and luxurious tropical beach, 6 kilometres from Samui International Airport, 20 kilometres from downtown Nathon and its Ferry Pier.
The Villa Lawana Resort is ideally lacated few minutes from the airport and walking distance from Chaweng center but keeps still distance to indulge peace and tranquility. All 122 villas have distinct character and although you get the impression to stay in a private Thai home they are enhanced with all amenities you expect from a resort in its class. All of the villas come with AC , in room safe , mini bar ,tea/coffee , flat screen plasma TV , DVD , Hi-speed internet , extra large bath room with full amenities. The one and only crème de la crème full sea-view located on the beachfront. It has two bedrooms (17.55 Sq. M, 20.25 Sq. M and 27 Sq. M), two bathrooms (23.40 Sq. M, 20.00 Sq. M and 13.00 Sq. M), one sitting area (18 Sq. M), a private outdoor Sala (24 Sq. M), a private sundeck (137 Sq. M), a private pool (35.27 Sq. M and 4.15 Sq. M) and a private garden (40 Sq. M). Buffet breakfast between 6:30 A.M. and 10:30 A.M., all-day-dinning begins at 10:30 A.M. until 12:00 A.M. or until the last guest leaves. The last order at 10:30 P.M.
It has 305 Sq. M. indoor dining and 123 Sq. M. outdoor dining space, which is connected to an outdoor deck of 1,138 Sq. M. International and Thai cuisine are served here with full selection of drinks and very extensive wine list. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of Asian and Western cuisine. At lunch and dinner there is a specially designed international à la carte menu with international dishes available. In addition we offer Thai set menu, Samui set menu, Mediterranean set menu, Thai-Asian set menu and Chinese set menu. In the evening, dinner setting is possible on the beach. Our à la carte menu is based upon availability of the freshest products. However, should there be anything that is not on the menu that you may prefer, our chef will try his utmost to provide you with a dish or ingredients that you desire.

 I booked a premier private pool suite for $150 at the end of May. We were a little dissapointed because the room is small with no windows to speak off and the pool (small plunge pool) is enclosed by...
